So, I finally figured this out :)
Right now, I'm thinking my project might focus on the irony of being nameless, yet labeling yourself. We'll see what happens!

That's a good observation, but now you need to find an actual question to explore. In a way, you are starting with your conclusion and working backwards. Instead, you might ask "How do people who present themselves with 'no identity' (as anonymous) negotiate their identity? Are they truly without identity, or do they find ways to distinguish themselves?" You could explore these questions in the Anonymous message boards, on YouTube, or elsewhere.
